This course is designed to provide critique and instruction to intermediate artists for your next 2-dimensional art project. You choose the subject matter and the medium, and art teacher, Karine Bauch, will mentor you at four points in the process:

1. Composition of the page
2. Preliminary sketch
3. Blocking in of basic colors and values
4. Final rendering

You will be able to upload your photo references and discuss your choices for creating a composition. Then Karine will review your preliminary sketch and mark up a copy with suggestions and comments before beginning the rendering stage. Individualized instruction will be given during the final rendering to guide you through the process to a polished final work.
