Overview

This course will introduce students to the fundamentals of good drawing, including shape, line, shadow, texture, and highlights through the completion of sketches, drawing exercises, and finished graphite projects.

Welcome to class!

Please start each lesson by viewing the respective video then printing off the lesson. After you have completed the work in that lesson, please take a digital photo of your work and upload it at the lesson page. Once you have received your critique and comments for your work, you can proceed with the next lesson.

Before you begin any lessons, please be sure to watch the Introduction video below to get an overview of the course. You will complete many sketches, several drawing exercises, and two finished projects in this course, which are shown on the right.
